Rheaume canoes are probably the nicest boats we’ve ever carried. The detailing is phenomenal — every line, every joint, every finish shows how much pride this company puts into their craft.

Rheaume builds truly awesome boats, but they don’t provide many photos beyond what’s on their website. The one we have in stock is a beautiful translucent teal with carbon composite gunwales and skid plates — absolutely stunning in person.

We also offer pre‑buy custom builds with all kinds of options (please call for details). Lead time is typically 6–8 weeks plus shipping time, and if you can wait, it’s absolutely worth it. These boats are heirloom‑quality and built to be cherished for decades.

The Prospector 16’6 is one of the most popular models to have been marketed of all brands. It’s our tallest canoe. It can be used both on a calm lake and on a river since it can be maneuvered very quickly in order to avoid obstacles. Its reactivity remains present even if it is heavily loaded. It is also endowed with a remarkable stability both solo and tandem. This canoe adapts to any type of situation and is suitable for both beginners and experienced paddlers. It is the model most used in camps, parks and schools.
